2. Schema Therapy: Schema Therapy integrates elements of cognitive-behavioural therapy, psychoanalytic therapy, attachment theory, and experiential therapies to treat chronic psychological problems. What to Expect

Initial Assessment and Goal Setting
The first step involves an initial appointment where you meet with Jaclyn to discuss your concerns, background, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. During this session, she will ask various questions to better understand your situation and help you set specific goals for therapy.

Once goals are established, Jaclyn will work with you through various therapeutic interventions tailored to your needs. These interventions could include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), schema therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) Dialectal Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills training, and/or other evidence-based approaches.

When you feel ready to finish with therapy and/or have achieved your goals, we will work together towards finishing up in a planned and supported manner.
